This salt has a wonderful colour, and where the smoking just tarnishes the pink rock salt they look like little jewels. The oaky smoke is like a log fire and well balanced with the tasty salt.
This product has an interesting colour and the judges were excited to taste it. It has a deep smoky aroma and this carries through to the flavour, and unusually for a salt, the smokiness almost overpowers the saltiness.
